Description: The Royal Doors - is the center of the home iconostasis, its heart and soul.
Here we can see the painting of the highest class of the Moscow icon painting school. Time of the 18th -19th centuries. This masterpiece has masterly work with the gold - both for leaf and melted gold on the backgrounds and halos. Please pay your attention to the fiery gilding of the Apostle Luke (second row under the Mother of God). The richest color composition.
The icons were painted for an elite client.
