Size: 31 x 26 cm.
Technique & Material: Board with dowels, gesso, tempera, melted gold, golden assist, drying oil. Open frame (basma) - brass with remnants of gilding.
Description: Nice layered personal painting with the "spaces" technique. A rich golden assist decorates the clothes of the Mother of God and the Savior.
Basma harmoniously complements the icon. Basma was completely covered with gilding, which was partially preserved.
The painting was strengthened and cleaned of the darkened layers of drying oil.
The icon has original state of preservation.
