The second half of the 19th century. Around 1850. Central Russia. Nizhny Novgorod (?).
Author - icon painter of the Old Believers.
Size: 26,5 x 21, 5 cm.
Technique & Material: Solid board with the ark, gesso, tempera, drying oil.
Description: Icon is elegant by it's art class. Traditional medieval "school" of iconography of the highest class. The Old Believers were very sensitive to the ancient canons and they followed them completely.
Perfect state of preservation.
