Technique & Material: Board with an ark, tempera, gilding of halos - gold leaf, cutting clothes are made with gold on assiste.
Description: Personal painting in a classic Byzantine manner in a highly professional manner level. Probably this is a custom-made icon that was made as a copy from the ancient miraculous Greek icon. We can see it from the style of the monument and the 4 forthcoming saints on its fields: Saint John Chrysostom, Saint Catherine, Saint Mary of Egypt and Saint Julian.
This icon is an remarkable monument to the workshop of the school of icon painting.
