Description: This is the canonical icon, which is painted in a style that is characteristic of the Middle Volga region. The gentle painting of the faces of the Child and the Mother of God, the polychrome range of robes, golden halos and light ocher background make this icon bright and festive. This icon was painted by family order - it is stated by Saints Gury, Smeon and Aviv on this icon - the patrons of the family and marriage. Saints Harlampius, Boniface, Paisios and Stepanida are depicted on the icon feilds.
