"Panagia (chest icon) Mother of God "Hodegetria" of Smolensk."

High Resolution Images: fragments.

19th century. Russia.
Size: 5 x 3,4 cm.
Technique & Material: Silver oklad of several parts (background and frame), engraving, gilding. On the back side the icon is closed with velvet "shirt." Hallmarks on silver: silver of the 84 sample, the initials of the master.

Description: The perfect state of preservation. Gilding is few erased from the oklad.

19 век. Россия.
Размер: 5 x 3,4 cm.

Серебряный оклад из нескольких  частей ( фона и рамы ) гравировка ,   позолота.С тыльной стороны икона закрыта бархатной «рубашкой». Клейма на серебре : 84 проба серебра ,инициалы мастера.
