Size: 29,8 x 28,2 cm.
Technique & Material: Board, gesso, tempera, drying oil.

Description:  “The Burning Bush” is one of the most mystical subjects in Orthodox icon painting.

The face painting is executed at a high professional level and is reminiscent of Greek iconography. The soft blue tunic and pale pink tunic of the Christ and the crimson robe of the Mother of God emphasize the unusual color palette of the icon.

High level of painting. Perfect state of preservation.
