Description: According to the legend of Pskovo - Pechersk the icon of the Mother of God "Tenderness" was written in 1521 by a certain hieromonk Arseny (Hitrosh) from the icon of the Mother of God of Vladimir. On prayers, blind people often received treatment before this icon.
This icon is especially revered in the north and northwest of Russia.
A rare icon that has unique state of preservation.
