The background of the icon is a delicate olive background, cutting of the garments are exquisite made in the technique of gold leaf on "assist". Painting of the faces is very gentle, transparent and volumetric. It is made in multilayer technique of ohreniya (overlay layer by layer the transparent layers of egg tempera).
Safety:
The icon is in perfect original state of preservation. The icon has been cleared and "opened" from external contamination and greatly darkened coating layer of the lacquer - drying oil. In the left field of the icon there is left a fragment of the darkened varnish.
