Size: 32,0 x 26,0 cm
Technique & Material: Board, gesso, tempera, drying oil.
Description: Author of the iconographer is from the Old Believers, who are completely preserved ancient traditions of the Novgorod icon painting. The painting is distinguished by the brightest color palette, carefully considered architecture written in reverse perspective.
The icon was cleared by the darkened varnish in 2015. The fragment of it was left on the right field of the icon.
The ideal state of preservation for it's age. Provenance: Private collection, Tartu, Estonia.
