Description: This icon has rare summary of the plot: the Mother of God is depicted with a Scroll (.....). On the icon feilds there are 13 saints depicted in medallions. : St. Nicholas, Vasily, John, Catherine, Olga, Anna, Simon, Gury, Samon, Aviv, Evdokia, Varvara, Alexander.
All saints are highly revered in Orthodoxy.
This icon has the typical style of iconography of the second half of the 18th century: 1) a characteristic face painting with active highlights in a multi-layer ocher technique; 2) halo consisting of the finest golden rays; 3) dark green background of the centerpiece.
This is rare image with the high level of icon painting and excellent preservation.
The icon has a high collection value.
