Technique & Material: A solid board with the ark, yolk tempera, drying oil.

Description:  In the second half of the 18th and early 19th century, the Palekh school experienced its heyday and was a supplier to the court of his imperial majesty, and certainly the best workshop in Rus'. It also had its best masters. This icon is from the hand of one of them.

We would like to note about the richness of the colors - they are clean, bright, ringing.
The scenes from the life are painted in the finest miniature painting. 
The icon is in perfect state of preservation and there was no restoration at all.
The icon is of the highest collectible, museum level.
