Description: This icon, created in the 19th century by the capital school, is an outstanding example of high ecclesiastical art. The work is distinguished by its virtuoso painting, the delicacy of the faces, and exquisite gold work. The icon was painted in strict adherence to the canons of the medieval Moscow school of icon painting.

Also of particular note is the skillful gilding, which creates a noble glow around the face of the Mother of God. Also of particular note is the magnificent decoration of the borders with cold enamel and the finest engraving, executed with exceptional skill.

The original condition of the icon is almost perfect.

The icon is a valuable antique artistic and spiritual work.
