Description: 

This version of the iconography of St. Apostle and Evangelist John the Divine - is called "John the Theologian in Silence ". The apostle is touching mouth with his right hand - a sign of silence, and with his left hand, he points to the text of an open book - the Gospel of John.
Angel is portrayed near to the left shoulder of the Saint John the Evangelist.

On the face of the Saint Apostle and Evangelist John the Divine we can see gentleness and spirituality, calm and contemplative print "unspeakable revelations" - as sung in the hymns dedicated to the apostle of love.
