Description: The icon depicts the miraculous appearance of the Mother of God to the Russian Saint Sergius of Radonezh in 1385. At the top of the icon there is the Old Testament Trinity.
The highest level of icon painting of personal painting, clothing, architecture. The gold background of the icon is covered with a complex engraved pattern.
The corners of the icon that are made with enamel paints, are decorated with floral ornaments. The refined and harmonious color scheme of the icon emphasizes its solemnity.
This icon is the high example of the Moscow icon paiting school.
