Technique & Material: Board with double ark, gesso, tempera, gold, drying oil.

Description:  Very high level of painting. This icon is the classic example of high ancient Russian icon painting. The icon was painted in the style of medieval 15-16th century. Garments of Mother of God and Child are rich decorated with complex pattern of gold assists.

The icon is in the original state of preservation and has great artistic and historical value.
