Description:  The image of the Mother of God where the face and clothes of the Mother of God are depicted in fiery red colors. This plot symbolizes the blood of Christ shed for humanity.

This icon has rare iconography of the Mother of God, which the Old Believers loved very much.
A high example of the Vetka icon painting school. The nimbus and the background of the icon are completely covered with gold, which is decorated with intricate engraved ornaments.

The icon was painted to order, as evidenced by the figures of 6 saints in the margins of the icon.

The icon has been cleaned of darkened layers of drying oil and is in its original state of preservation.

The icon has artistic and collectible value.
