Description:  The Kykk Mother of God is the main icon of Cyprus. Come and pray near this icon can anyone, but no one can touch it. It is closed by the oklad(frame) and the oklad (frame) is covered with veil.

This icon is called Kykkskaya from the name of the mountain - Kykas on the island of Cyprus. The merciful icon is called because Mother of God is depicted on it begging to her Son and her God for the salvation of the Christian race. Many miracles of salvation occurred from the icon and lists from it.
The painting of this icon unconditionally refers us to the Moscow School Armory starting from the board. The board for this icon was chosen very responsibly. It is made of a monolithic piece of wood, bone gesso.
