Description: Icon named "Besednaya" because it displays the phenomenon of the Heavenly Queen to the sexton George (Yuroshu). Upon completion of the church construction sexton George was sent to nearby villages to inform people about the time of the consecration of the temple. On the way back, near the spot where stood the newly built temple, The Mother of God appeared to the Geogre in the radiance of heavenly light.
Her husband stood near her in hallowed attire that looks similar like Saint Nicholas. On the place where the Mother of God interviews with George in 1515 by the order of Grand Prince Vasily Ivanovich was arranged male "Besedny" monastery. This icon is a very rare subject. The icon has a high collectible status.
