Technique & Material: Board, yolk tempera, drying oil. Frame (oklad): Silver of the 84 samples, gilding, engraving. Initials of the jeweler. All hallmarks are present.
Description: This icon is written in a realistic, metropolitan St. Petersburg style, that was fashionable in the 19th century among the townspeople and the elite. Most likely an icon belonged to a wealthy merchant.
This icon was not restored. On the back side of the icon there is so so-called "shirt". It's appointment: Tribute to the icon and probably protection of the icon.
Perfect state of preservation.
