Russia. Volga region. Around the year 1800.

Size: 22 x 17,5 cm.
Technique & Material: Oak board with the back "spons", levkas, tempera, gold, drying oil. Polychrome Cold enamel on the fields with engraving.

Description: A high class of painting, gold leaf with an engraving on the background, clothes of princes are masterly decorated with a pattern of melted gold.

Very rare icon in good state of preservation.
