Technique & Material: Copper casting, engraving, enamel Description: The back side of the icon represents an extended composition of a scene of the Crucifixion of Christ on Golgotha mount with the city of Jerusalem at the background. That was a very honored icon in an old beliver society. The composition is placed inside of a round cartoushe and additionally decorated over the perimeter by a complex floral ornament. The highest level of casting and enamel painting. Ideal state of preservation.
